The Power of Awareness and Presence

May 15, 2015

The first Workshop in the Power Series

Are you looking for creative ways to manage interpersonal conflict, cultural differences, power struggles and chronic miscommunication at work? Are you looking for tools that you can apply immediately to help create transformation for you and your teams? Are you open to learning how horses can help you with people problems in the workplace? Then the Power Series was designed for you.

Come out to the May 15th workshop, The Power of Awareness and Presence, to taste-test the power of equine experiential coaching and learning. Experience how this work helps individuals and teams overcome the challenges of working together. Through developing the skill of focused attention and awareness you will:

  • Receive direct and real feedback about your leadership style and presence from the horses and other participants
  • Gain new insight and awareness into how your presence affects those around you
  • Understand when your beliefs, biases, and interpretations may be false
  • Learn a model to ground yourself and enhance your awareness of self, other, and environment
  • Engage your intuition in play with the horses.

Through enhanced awareness of self, other, and our environment we are able to become more responsive and less reactive to the everyday challenges we face in this complex world.

Engage in a unique, adventurous, and invigorating day of learning at the beautiful Wisteria Acres Retreat Centre.  Spend the day in a beautiful rural setting bonding with intimate strangers; become part of a “herd” with people from all walks of life. Want to bring a friend or colleague? Take advantage of the “Two-fer” offer.  Early Bird offer ends May 1st.

What other people have said about this work:  “amazing”, “surprising”, “profound”, “transformational”, “enlightening”.

Coaches will hone their core coaching competencies while earning 9 CCEUs (6 Core and 3 Resource). Focus on your Coaching Presence and Awareness, defined by ICF as “the ability to be fully conscious and create spontaneous relationship with the client”.
